CCM stands for smt Christian movement club (forgotten the full meaning to it :S).. Anw apparently you need not be a Christian to join them and the club is more like a Singaporean club where 80% of the people that I meet at the BBQ section are from Singaporeans..
Today I really had a great day.. getting to know more people from Singapore, China, Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, etc.. Though I did not really get to eat much, but is fun to know more nice people and mingle around with them. And is my first ever time to BBQ at such a cold weather and playing games. Below are some pictures of the games, foods and people that I mingled around with..

Can you imagine the amount of people with the amount of food that they are preparing.. and this is the 2nd batch of food :S

New and Old friends that I got to know at the BBQ..

And somemore new friends.. taken at the bus stop while waiting for the bus to go home..

Last but not least, gaming section at a field where the place is soo cold.. hahaha..
Jin is my housemate.. where she is older than me by a couple of years..persuading her master degree in UQ.. and she treat me too nice.. can’t stand her hahaha..
Apparently, she cooked most of my meals for me and without her.. I think I will be suffering from mild nutritious by the end of my stay in Australia.. lol.. And below is a picture of my lunch box to school where the food is cooked by her. She even asked me which days I will be eating in school so that she can cook for me.. Such a wonderful housemate hahaha…

Argh.. have been quite lazy to move lately, as I don’t feel like moving my arms anymore.. thanks to the intensive Wii fit and Wii sport games introduced by my landlord. After competing with him in boxing, bowling, table tennis (especially), tennis, etc.. my arm is extremely aching now.. I can even feel the strained just by opening the door… :(
Anyway, it has been a busy wkend. Went out with some Singaporeans on Friday and had dinner at a Riverside restaurant. It is really a great weather to sit by the riverside, chit chat with fris and eat a meal or drink a glass of beer. It is like natural air con blowing, though after that we felt kind of cold haha.. But anyway we really had lots of fun going out together. We even went to the Casino to register for free membership card so that we can eat at the Casino café food at a cheaper rate then outside and get 2 free drinks haha… When you r in Aust.. u will learn how to save every bit hahaha..
They even accompanied me to buy some household items that are missing in the house like iron, iron board and toaster. Anyway we really had a wild night that night… and seriously I don’t remember myself doing such funny and weird things in Singapore.
Below are some pictures that we took...

I also went out with my landlords over the weekend, where they bought me a new leather chair for my room and I managed to get some stationery that I need before going school. Seriously, please get your stationery in Singapore, down here is like a bomb. Just a simple file cost me $4+. Argh.. I am still not used to the expensive living standard here.
And as for the rest of my days, I spend my time watching video, chit chat online and play Wii. That is how I got soo much muscle ach.. Oh Oh and doing housework too :D I am extremely obedient here :D where I will automatically do my housework as compare myself back in Singapore.
Last but not least, wish me lucks as my first lecture starts tmr :D

Opppssss… I forgotten to take a picture after I cooked my meal, but it tasted nice hahaha :D so not much was left after I rmb taking the picture of what I cooked. And I cooked Mee Fen for lunch :D

After lunch, I went out to play table tennis and bowling with my landlord, his wife and friend. But But.. it is soo soo expensive to bowl in Aust.. $13.50 per game.. and that is with student concession. Luckily my landlord’s friend gave us a treat where 8 games cost us $66+ while still having 2 games played for free. My heart will really ach if I were to pay soo much to play bowling while playing table tennis is much better still cos it is free :D hahaha.. as my landlord’s friend house has a table tennis at their garage.

I have no idea what is wrong with me today.. where I just keep doing housework hahaha.. and this is my room before and after effect.. C soo tidy le hahahaha...
BEFORE

AFTER
Oh there were some new pictures posted up on my privious privious topic.. and I also edited abit of the content.. so can just go read it up too :D
Wow.. I have been seriously quite busy lately.. getting started for school and settling down at my new house.. Sch was ok.. meet up some new Singaporeans :D thankful to one of my fri who intro her fri to me :D
Seriously, going overseas to study is super super not easy at all. U really have to be mentally prepared especially if you are going to share accommodation outside the school with other ppl to save cost. Other than schooling, you have to do your own house wrk, from washing clothes, cooking, washing toilet, kitchen, hanging clothes, tidy up your room, vacuum your room, settling your mobile phone plans, buying groceries, settling your bank accounts, settling you school enrollment matters and smt even felt helpless especially at the very start.
Like today, I spent 2hrs washing the toilet bowl, bath tub, bathroom basin, kitchen basin, microwave, stove, kitchen table and boiling water. After doing those housework seriously I felt not bad about myself haha.. Cos I don’t touch all these things in Singapore.
Another thing about going overseas is prepare to talk topics that you would not talk to your fris about in Singapore, which is “Going to which supermarket to shop for cheap food”. Today while having lunch with some Singaporeans, we were talking about going which supermarket to buy foods have more offer, and what type of food is cheaper in which supermarket. We even talked about what to cook for lunch and dinner and what to eat for tomorrow breakfast. Everyday, we have to think of what to cook for our next meal.
WE FELT LIKE AUNTIES AND UNCLES AS BACK IN SINGAPORE WE DON’T RMB OURSELF TALKING SUCH TOPICS WITH FRIENDS :S
The uni foods are expensive where the minimum food price is 6bucks+ though the portion is huge. So most of the Asian students brought their own food to eat. And do not even think about drinking soft drink at UQ, provided you are prepare to pay 2bucks+ for a can.
Hai…

Within 3 days I had spent AUS$170 on 3 theme parks. They are the Dream world, Sea world and Movie world. And all 3 theme park, I have been sitting rides from, River Log rides (the ride where u sit on a log and splash down from somewhere high), Scooby Doo Indoor Roller Coaster, Motor Coaster, Batman stimulator rides, etc.. Seriously, at some points of the rides.. I was wondering why did I pay money to get myself frighten lol.. but at the end of the day, is really quite worth it, where the experiences you get is beyond words :D And I really did enjoy myself :D Especially eating Chorrus at different theme park.. I just love Churros.. hahaha..

Just Love CHORRUS :D
Oh and at Movie world today, I even get to take pictures with Wonder Woman, Cat Woman, Flash, etc, types of super hero, which reminds me of my childhood days. I even bought a Bat man towel :D And the shows are very cool, especially the stunt drivers show, it is really v v awesome and funny. It is a must to go if you are there.

P.S. IF ANY OF YOUR GO TO SEA WORLD, PLS BECAREFUL OF THE SEAGULLS THERE, THEY ARE NOT AFRIAD OF HUMANS AND WOULD TRY TO PEAK ON YOUR FOOD IF YOU ARE NOT CAREFUL. THEY EVEN POO ANYWHERE THEY LIKE, AND I EVEN SAW WITH MY OWN EYES A SEAGULL POO ON A LADY'S BAG WHICH IS SOO DISGUSTING.

Oh and below are some of my pictures taken at Sea world.. it is kind of a fun place to be :D But just becareful of the seaguals.. they will snatch ur donut if you un looking at them hahhahaha...

Oh and this is a picture of me playing this guessing game where this old man at the picture will guess my age and weight but giving him 2yrs and 2kg of leeway.. and apparently he guess me only 16 hahhahaha.. and weight wise also wrong.. So I won a Dolphin :D

Hahahhahaa.. I wet my pants while playing “Gold Rush” (Boat ride) at Dream world today.
Today was definitely a fun and exciting day where my family and I went to Dream world. Gold Coast is really famous for these theme parks where you get to play a lot of thrilling rides such as Motor Coaster (Roller Coaster), Cyclone (Huge Roller Coaster), Terror House (Free falling backwards), Waves, etc… Seriously, after playing some of the games there especially their roller coaster, I almost puke out.
But I enjoy most eating the theme park food such as Mt Franklin (a type of huge hotdog with a layer of fried coating over), Chorrus (not very sure of the spelling, but is one of my favourite food :D especially with whip cream and chocolate on it), etc… Below are some pictures :D

From Brisbane to Gold Coast is just about an hr plus journey, where this place is famous for their Movie world, Dream world, Sea world and some more other worlds around too. I would seriously highly recommend people to go Gold Coast if they were to go Brisbane. The place is extremely cooling and the place which I stayed at called the Surfer’s Paradise really lived up to its name. The beach is amazing and you could see many locals or tourists heading to the beach for a swim or even sightseeing. Below are some lovely pictures that I took from the beach :D

Opps.. accidentally took a pict of a naked boy running away from the waves lol..

Apart from the beach, you can also enjoy shopping, eating and especially the weather. The pricing for the restaurants here are quite reasonable and the clothing here are currently having sales where some of the clothing are actually selling cheaper than Singapore. I even managed to got this G2B footwear at a 50% off :D

P.S. YOU CAN ENJOY BUYING SUNGLASSES AT CHEAP AND AFFRODABLE PRICES AND MOST IMPORTANTLY THERE ARE A VARIETY OF DESIGNS FOR YOU TO CHOOSE FROM AS COMPARE TO SINGAPORE. THE SUNBLOCK LOTIONS ARE VERY CHEAP TOO :D
WOW.. Wad a trip today, went to view Brisbane scenery, cruise, farm tour and went to some places of attraction areas.
Overall, I enjoyed myself most at the farm tour. There were lots and lots of Koala Bears climbing on the trees. They looked soo cute while sleeping up on the branches. Below are some pictures to show how cute they are while sleeping :D
Apart from the Koala Bears, there were also Sheep, Goats, Kangaroo, Birds and Reptiles there. There were also feeding session and especially the Sheep, they were quite scary to feed. They will all just rush together towards me, before even giving me a chance to open the gate :S All they want is the cup of dried grass on my hand.. And they really eat soo quickly like they have been days not eating the food at all..
Ohh.. and if anyone is going to Brisbane Lone Pine (where the farm tour is), please wear a pair of shoes that does not stick soil to your sole. As there is a large patch of field where all the Kangaroos and Emus can move around freely and there are lots of shits at the field. I even saw an Emu pooing and a Kangaroo peeing.. Ewwwww…..

Due to the problem of finding internet access, it was quite some time from the last blog that I had blogged. Anyway, I still kept a record of what I did during my trip at Brisbane for some of my days. So here it goes :D..
During a trip down to my school at University of Queensland, I must really say that the Kukubara birds in the school are unafraid of human. I was having lunch this afternoon at UQ and this Kukubara bird just flew down from nowhere and peck on my food away. I was astonished at what the bird had just did to my food.. and worst of all, it flew down twice to peck on my food. Come on there are soo many other tables of leftover foods to peak on.. why does it keep peaking on my food :(
Anyway, apart from some little funny incident that I encounter at UQ, finally I could say that life is just much better from the very first day and I had got most of my stuff done. From my SIM card, to internet access, bank account, to rental of room and settling of room stuffs and everything. Now at least I start enjoying the sceneries of Brisbane, the city cat, UQ, shopping, etc..
Oh and I really loved the night riverside view at Brisbane, especially when I get to eat a plate of fish and chips under the moonlight beside the river with a very fine cooling weather. Below are some pictures of Brisbane :D
